Net-Zero – It’s one of those buzz terms that is thrown around when people talk about sustainability and green-living, but what does it actually mean?

Net-Zero is a term used to describe any example where the amount of carbon emissions released into the atmosphere is balanced (or offset) by the amount removed from it. In other words, it refers to achieving a balance between the amount of greenhouse gases pumped out and the amount removed from the atmosphere.

All over the world countries and companies have set targets to reach net-zero carbon emissions by a certain date, in attempt to combat climate change and limit global warming. This often involves transitioning to renewable energy sources, improving energy efficiency, and implementing carbon capture and storage technologies.
