it works
We’ll start by gathering quality data from your business that will enable us to calculate your current carbon footprint, we do this via a robust audit of your procedures. Don’t worry, we’re not judging or trying to catch you out, it’s simply a case of identifying areas where we can make a notable difference.
Once our bespoke software has calculated your current position we’ll work hand-in-hand with you to strategize and implement a series of achievable actions that will gradually bring down your carbon emissions.
We’ll have regular communication with you to assess and refine your journey, and we’ll recalculate your carbon footprint at pre-determined intervals so that you have a visual of your progress.
Once we’ve made marked progress you’ll be awarded one of two Go Low Carbon accreditations; Carbon Conscious, or Carbon Neutral. All of the above is designed to have little impact on your day-to-day operation. We’ll do the vast majority of the hard work at our end.

What do we measure during calculations?
We follow the internationally recognised guidelines set out by the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, all major business activities are considered and grouped into three distinct categories:
Direct emissions your business produces e.g. company owned fleet vehicles and the use of oil or gas, etc
Indirect emissions from the use of grid-fed electricity e.g. carbon released in the generation of electricity before it is used by your business
All other indirect emissions from a wide range of sources e.g. business travel, commuting, waste and logistics – this category makes up the largest share of your carbon footprint and will be where we see the most improvement.
