We are proud to announce our new partnership with Carlisle United Football Club, marking an exciting step forward in the club’s journey towards a more sustainable future. As a Cumbria-based energy specialist, we are passionate about helping local organisations cut carbon emissions and lower energy costs, and this collaboration with Carlisle United is already making a real difference.
By switching the club to a greener energy supply arranged through us, Carlisle United has reduced its carbon emissions by 133 tonnes per year. That is the equivalent of the carbon absorbed by a woodland nine times the size of Brunton Park, a significant achievement for both the club and the environment.
The benefits do not stop there. The new green energy contract is also delivering £96,000 in annual savings, allowing the club to reinvest those funds into key areas both on and off the pitch. It is a clear example of how sustainability and financial responsibility can go hand in hand.
Carlisle United Chief Executive, Nigel Clibbens, said:

It also makes a huge difference to our environmental sustainability by moving us to green energy sources and opening up new green energy technologies which will be important for us in the future. As part of our partnership, we will continue working closely with Carlisle United to explore further opportunities to reduce their environmental footprint, including renewable energy projects such as solar power installations.
